Why say this now
Scanning 160 sources and running assessments costs real money per run. Rather than leave that unsaid and surprise people later, the plan is written down while everything is still free.
Browsing the bank and assessing your own idea are the parts that should stay free — they're how most people find out whether any of this is useful. What a paid plan will cover is the recurring side: following opportunities, being told when they move, and reading their history.
Some of what is free today is part of that recurring side — following ideas, alerts when one moves, and the full history behind a score. Those work right now for everyone, and they are the parts most likely to sit behind a paid plan when one opens. Nothing is being taken away in the meantime.
